Job Title: Head Housekeeper

Anchor is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Head Housekeeper to join our team at Moore Place in Esher. As a key member of our care home team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of all areas of the care home, including resident rooms, communal spaces, and outdoor areas.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Supervise and train cleaning staff to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties to the highest standard.
  • Monitor and maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient cleaning process.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a cleaning or care environment, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols and procedures, including COSHH.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
