About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Crisis Nurse to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Crisis Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage mental health crises in individuals referred to the service, providing safe and effective home treatment.
  • Participate in the delivery of the agreed aims and objectives of the service, identifying factors that may inhibit these from being achieved.
  • Deliver a high standard of nursing care to service users, implementing agreed systems for monitoring the effectiveness of care.
  • Participate in the education and management of junior staff, contributing to the development of the team.
Person Specification

We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse with extensive post-registration experience, a current MPFT B6 nurse with CRHT experience, and a working knowledge of risk assessment and management.

Desirable qualifications include a non-medical prescribing qualification.
