**Job Summary**

Chelwest is seeking an enthusiastic and capable Consultant Neonatologist to support the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at our Chelsea site.

The successful candidate will join an experienced and forward-thinking Consultant team, with a leading academic Neonatal research department as part of Imperial College London.

This is a full-time non-resident consultant post with daytime clinical duties. The post will contribute fully to the consultant rota and will support the existing workload in neonatal intensive care and following NICU expansion.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at our Chelsea site
  • Join an experienced and forward-thinking Consultant team
  • Contribute to the consultant rota and support the existing workload in neonatal intensive care
  • Support the development of the Neonatal research department

**Our Neonatal Unit**

Our neonatal unit is one of the largest in London with 37 cots comprising 12 ITU, 12 HDU, and 13 SCBU commissioned cots, with 12 ITU/12 HDU operational capacity. The unit currently looks after approximately 600 babies and has a combined 6,600 ITU/HDU bed days a year.
