Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Ulverston. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailored support to adults with learning disabilities, enabling them to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Key Tasks
- To develop and implement personalized support plans, ensuring the individual's needs are met and their goals are achieved.
- To assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- To support individuals in accessing community facilities, participating in social activities, and engaging in hobbies and interests.
- To maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and external agencies.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a caring and supportive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £12 per hour and a range of benefits, including:
- A 28-day holiday entitlement (including bank holidays).
- Pension contributions into NEST Scheme on a salary sacrifice basis.
- An enhanced DBS check will be required.
