We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Huddersfield. As a key member of our social housing projects, you will provide accurate cost estimates, manage project budgets, and ensure value for money.
- Prepare detailed cost plans and estimates for new build social housing projects.
- Monitor project costs and identify potential savings.
- Manage variations and claims, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver successful projects.
Your Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + Package
Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying within the social housing sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Excel, CostX, Asite).
