The Advanced Nurse Practitioner role at NHS Lothian requires a highly skilled professional who can utilise advanced clinical judgment to assess and treat patients presenting in General Practice.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring patient health needs are met through diagnosis, treatment, and review planning processes, working collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

As a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, the ANP will provide expert advice, education, innovation, and audit services to enhance patient care and outcomes.

This role demands exceptional communication and leadership skills to collaborate with colleagues, develop policies, procedures, and nursing services, and provide clinical leadership as needed.

A Postgraduate Certificate in Prescribing (or equivalent) and current registration with the NMC are mandatory requirements for this position.

In addition, the post holder must undergo a PVG Scheme membership check and obtain satisfactory results before commencing employment.

This is a fixed-term opportunity with a salary range of £60,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, to cover a specific period.
