Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Advisor to join our team. As a Mortgage Advisor, you will be responsible for advising clients on their mortgage and protection needs.
You will research and maintain knowledge of mortgage and protection products and the available providers. You will also meet the regulatory aspects of the role, such as the requirements for disclosure, costs of the services, and the advised products.
You will be expected to keep up to date with changes in legislation relating to the Freelance Contractor and Interim Manager industry sector.
Key Responsibilities- Advise clients on their mortgage and protection needs.
- Research and maintain knowledge of mortgage and protection products and the available providers.
- Meet the regulatory aspects of the role, such as the requirements for disclosure, costs of the services, and the advised products.
- Keep up to date with changes in legislation relating to the Freelance Contractor and Interim Manager industry sector.
- Take ownership when seeking solutions for clients, including the adjudication of the solution with the Company's internal departments.
- CeMAP 1, 2 & 3
- 1 year's experience of providing advice on mortgage services and products.
- Previous experience working in a compliance regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage products.
- High level of numeracy skills.
- Strong Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
- Salary of up to £30,000, depending on experience.
- Hybrid working.
- 5% company pension contribution after 3 months.
