IT Educator

We are seeking an experienced and qualified IT Teacher to join our team at Prospero Teaching Careers. As a member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and contributing to the improvement of our department.

About the Role:

• To assist the Head of Department in ensuring that teaching in your subject is of high quality and contributes to the departments improvement plan.
• To participate in staff development activities provided within the department and whole school.
• To deliver, as directed, syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, assessment and marking policies and teaching strategies so that student needs can be met.
• To report student progress in your subject to the Head of Department and to parents/carers.

Requirements:

• Confident with teaching IT to an A level standard.
• Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.
• Degree relating to IT teaching.
• Teaching qualification - QTS/PGCE.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years.
• A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
