Mobile Cleaning Team Lead

As a Mobile Periodic Cleaning Supervisor at Sodexo, you will be responsible for supervising multiple sites and their cleaning services to create a safe and healthy environment. You will interact with our clients daily, which are homes to ex-offenders, and improve the quality of life for everyone you meet. You will primarily be responsible for floor cleaning, including carpets and hard floors, at clients' sites located in various regions of the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise cleaning teams to ensure timely and thorough completion of tasks
  • Ensure completion of all requested/contracted tasks and motivate teams to achieve this
  • Manage the ordering of stock and consumables, such as toilet tissue, cleaning products, and appliances, and maintain records for compliance
  • Be a champion of health and safety practices, identifying near misses and reporting them to ensure colleague safety
  • Conduct regular safety walks to identify hazards and implement solutions
  • Hold regular feedback sessions with teams to ensure they are confident and happy in their roles

Requirements:

  • Over 25 with a full UK driving license and no more than 6 penalty points
  • Physically fit, with heavy lifting required
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses, is desirable
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
  • Team player with the ability to take instruction
