Cyber Security Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Fruition IT. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud-based solutions, conducting comprehensive security risk assessments, and contributing to the creation and implementation of information security policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough security risk assessments and threat analysis to identify potential vulnerabilities and prioritise mitigation strategies.
  2. Design and implement secure cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  3. Develop and maintain information security policies, standards, and guidelines that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  4. Investigate and respond to security breaches, ensuring swift containment and remediation of any compromised systems or data.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity infrastructure engineering with a strong understanding of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.
  • Expertise in cloud security and the ability to design and implement secure cloud-based solutions.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, JS) to automate security tasks and streamline workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
