Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 HIAB driver to join our team at Backline Logistic Support Services Limited. As a dedicated driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various builders merchants in the Bridgwater area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a HIAB crane to safely load and unload goods
  • Complete deliveries to multiple locations within the Bridgwater area
  • Work independently, using your own initiative to secure loads and manage your time effectively
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth delivery operations
Requirements
  • Full UK Category C Licence
  • Experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • HIAB ticket (free training provided)
  • Knowledge of load security and local area
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Benefits
  • PAYE: £14.00 per hour, minimum 9 hours paid per day, £18.66 after 9 hours Monday to Friday, £21.00 per hour for weekends
  • Up to 28 days holiday accrued per year
  • Pension contributions after 12 weeks probation period
