Key Responsibilities
  • Support the residential property team in managing a diverse caseload of transactions from instruction to post-completion, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Assist with the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, guaranteeing clients' rights and interests.
  • Conduct property searches, liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant parties, facilitating smooth transactions and timely completion.
  • Draft and review contracts, title documents, and other related legal documentation under the supervision of a solicitor, providing accurate and timely advice, ensuring clients' needs are met.
  • Evaluate compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency, safeguarding clients' interests and reputation.
  • Maintain accurate case records, manage client expectations through regular communication, and provide exceptional customer service, building trust and loyalty.
  • Support the handling of complex property issues, such as lease extensions, shared ownership, and adverse possession, requiring a deep understanding of property law, ensuring informed decision-making and risk management.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in residential property law is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of the conveyancing process, enabling effective case management and timely completion.
  • Excellent client care skills, with the ability to communicate legal concepts clearly and effectively, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, maintaining efficiency and productivity, while minimizing errors and delays.
  • Attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving in all aspects of work, identifying and resolving issues promptly, ensuring smooth transaction execution and client satisfaction.
  • Experience using conveyancing case management systems is advantageous, enhancing workflow efficiency and accuracy, streamlining processes and reducing administrative burdens.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, contributing to a positive and inclusive working environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration, and driving results.
