Job Title: Assistant Buyer

Salary: Up to £30,000

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our clients Brand Team. As a Assistant Buyer, you will deliver a commercially successful wholesale range.

You will work with all departments across the business, as well as numerous suppliers. This is a fast-paced role, that requires organization and knowledge of the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions
  • Negotiating with suppliers to agree prices, quantities, delivery schedules, promotions and exclusivity deals
  • Working with inventory management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders
  • Delivering reports on sales data, marketing activity and other metrics to key stakeholders
  • Adapting product offering based on customer feedback and behaviour
  • Identifying new suppliers and new product opportunities
  • Attend multiple trade shows throughout the year both in the UK and overseas
  • Working alongside Marketing Communications to create effective instore activation for maximum sales
