Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our clients Brand Team. As a Assistant Buyer, you will deliver a commercially successful wholesale range.
You will work with all departments across the business, as well as numerous suppliers. This is a fast-paced role, that requires organization and knowledge of the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions
- Negotiating with suppliers to agree prices, quantities, delivery schedules, promotions and exclusivity deals
- Working with inventory management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders
- Delivering reports on sales data, marketing activity and other metrics to key stakeholders
- Adapting product offering based on customer feedback and behaviour
- Identifying new suppliers and new product opportunities
- Attend multiple trade shows throughout the year both in the UK and overseas
- Working alongside Marketing Communications to create effective instore activation for maximum sales
Requirements:

- An understanding of supply chain management and logistics
