Editorial Growth Strategist

Job Title

We are seeking a talented Content Development Manager to join our team at Sky News. This role will focus on developing and executing a content strategy to drive engagement and growth on our digital platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a content strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
• Collaborating with the digital leadership team to plan and execute editorial initiatives that drive engagement and growth.
• Working closely with curation editors to provide guidance and support in developing best practices for content creation and dissemination.
• Overseeing experimentation, including A/B testing and digital growth hacks, to optimize our content and user experience.
• Partnering with the Cross-Platform Audience Growth Editor and other newsroom teams to curate newsletters showcasing our journalism.

Requirements:

• Excellent news knowledge and a deep understanding of digital media trends, SEO, and audience behavior.
• Innovative ideas for helping us broaden and deepen our relationship with audiences.
• Proven ability to use data to inform decision-making in an editorial context.

Salary and Benefits

• £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
