Job Title: Care Advocate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Care Advocate to join our team in Northumberland. As a Care Advocate, you will be responsible for visiting clients in care homes to ensure they are happy with their surroundings, have a representative, and that care plans are in place.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting clients to understand their rights
- Working in line with legislation across mental health, care, and human rights acts
- Ensuring care provided is within the client's best interests
- Raising any safeguarding concerns

Requirements:
- Ability to commute to care homes in the Northumberland region (mileage costs covered)
- Social care background and understanding of legislation
- Experience in advocacy would be advantageous
