The Role

Our clients are excited to announce an opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team in a newly elevated hospital-status branch. This full-time role is ideal for an RVN with at least one year of experience, eager to contribute to a thriving team and embrace all aspects of small animal veterinary nursing.

Their practice, recently granted hospital status through the RCVS practice standards scheme, is expanding its team to meet the needs of their growing client base. They are looking for enthusiastic candidates who are ready to bring fresh ideas and motivation to their close-knit team.

The practice supports ongoing professional development, offering a generous personal CPD allowance, funding for certificate courses, and regular in-house CPD days. The entire team also has access to Vetstream. You will benefit from a structured schedule, working four days a week with shifts from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm or 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, including paid lunch breaks.

Rota

As a full-time nurse, you will rotate between inpatient care, theatre, and consulting roles, engaging with a varied caseload of small animals. While there are no weeknight on-call duties due to their dedicated night nurses, participation in their 1:5 Saturday and Sunday day rota and an equal share of bank holidays is required.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience as a Registered Veterinary Nurse
  • Enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for small animal veterinary nursing
