Teaching Assistant Opportunity
EdEx invites applications from enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to fill the position of STEM Teaching Assistant. This role presents an exciting chance to gain practical experience in a dynamic Secondary School setting, preparing you for a successful teaching career.

About the Position
As a STEM Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the Class Teacher, providing whole-class support and contributing to the development of engaging lessons. EdEx offers Salaried Teacher Training commencing September 2025, enabling you to pursue your teaching ambitions without financial constraints.

Daily Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the Class Teacher in delivering high-quality lessons
  • Providing individualized support to students, focusing on STEM subjects
  • Assisting with lesson planning, preparation, and implementation
  • Participating in creating a collaborative and inclusive classroom atmosphere

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong academic background in a STEM-related field, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A genuine interest in education and a commitment to inspiring students are essential qualities for this position.

Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including access to professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.
