Key Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Manager - Meat Industry Specialist at Musgrave, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth in the meat category.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Providing expert knowledge and support to customers on meat products and services.
  • Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and business objectives.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in proactive field sales and achieving targets.
  • Clear knowledge and experience of working in the food industry, particularly in the meat category.
  • Excellent questioning and listening skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to manage customer profitability.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
