We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the construction industry. As a key member of our project planning team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

About the Position:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying or construction management, with experience in cost estimation and project planning. You will be responsible for developing precise cost estimates, assessing project requirements, and ensuring efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Cost Estimation: Create comprehensive cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and timelines.
  • Feasibility Assessments: Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate project requirements, resource needs, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Cost Control: Track and manage project budgets to maintain costs within set parameters.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator, ideally in housebuilding or scaffolding.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Software Knowledge: Familiarity with cost estimation software; Strikesoft experience is advantageous but not essential (full training provided).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication for effective collaboration.
