Gi Group is seeking an experienced Apprenticeships Skills Trainer to join our team in Rotherham. As a Plumbing and Heating Coach, you will be responsible for developing the skills of apprentices through coaching, assessing, and supporting them on Fabrication and Welding courses.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing within Apprenticeship Standards, a vocationally relevant qualification at level 3 or above, and a A1/V1 Assessors Award. They should also have a teaching qualification, knowledge of current apprenticeship standards, and understanding of End Point Assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide coaching and skills support to ensure successful timely completion of End Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Support apprentices through onsite workplace visits and creation of showcase evidence
  • Support employers in understanding on and off job training requirements
  • Provide pastoral support to apprentices
