Lifting Equipment Specialist

The Lifting Equipment Specialist role at GAP Group Ltd. is a site-based position that involves the inspection, function testing, repair, and maintenance of lifting and working at height equipment.
This role requires the ability to inspect lifting equipment in accordance with LOLER/PUWER and to perform proof load testing of equipment such as runway beams, davit sockets, swing jibs, and lift shaft eyes.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for producing reports and certification for equipment, including detailed reporting on failed items.
Additionally, the TIC team supports the lifting depot network by maintaining the hire fleet, upskilling members of the team, and providing customers with bespoke solutions to lifting-based queries.
The ideal candidate will have a valid driving licence and be competent in the inspection of lifting equipment.
