Job Description

We are partnering with a highly regarded family-owned manufacturing business to support in their search for a Finance Manager/Financial Controller. This role will form part of the senior leadership team with responsibility for leading and developing a small finance team, and the day-to-day running of the department.

The role requires the ability to clearly and effectively communicate to non-finance stakeholders and produce detailed and insightful analysis to support key business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance team, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and present financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and manage risk.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Support with ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

  • ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience of leading and developing a small finance team.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
