Job Summary:

CV Library is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with expertise in NEC contracts to join their team on a challenging nuclear project.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is £70,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing change through CEMAR, ensuring compliance with contractual timelines. They will also provide commercial guidance to the site team and management on all contractual matters.

The successful candidate will oversee supply chain management, drafting and issuing NEC3 subcontracts, and ensure clear communication of contractual obligations.

They will prepare internal contract valuations, ensuring precise assessments of project costs and progress. Additionally, they will produce monthly cost and value reports, presenting them to senior management.

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of NEC contract forms
  • A relevant degree-level qualification
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A driven, self-motivated attitude with strong commercial acumen
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
  • Experience in generating both internal and external reports
  • Experience in Nuclear, M&E, or Civil Engineering (desirable)
  • Relevant professional qualification (RICS/CICES) (desirable)
