About the Role:

Talent Finder Jobs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our office, you will be responsible for coordinating business-to-business sales and purchasing dealings in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure smooth business operations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with sales, purchasing, and engineering colleagues
  • Source, negotiate, plan, schedule, and place orders to meet production needs
  • Manage stock levels and ensure minimum stock while meeting production requirements
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities
  • Provide administrative support to the sales and purchasing teams

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in business-to-business sales and purchasing dealings in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and other tools
  • Good understanding of manufacturing IT systems, including MRP/Planning tools such as SAP and/or Progress Plus
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
