We are seeking a highly skilled Client Accountant to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Client Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, preparing accounts, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Prepare accounts, including financial statements and tax returns
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client queries and concerns
- Work closely with the accounts team to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in client accounting, preferably in a practice environment
- Strong IT and technical skills, including experience with accounts software such as Xero
- AAT qualification or qualified by experience (QBE)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
