Early Years Teaching Assistant

We are working with a Primary School in Enfield to find a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team from October 2024.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will work as a general teaching assistant, supporting the Reception pupils and helping them with their learning. This is a temporary position, but the option to make it permanent may become available at a later date.
Key Responsibilities- Support the teacher in planning and delivering learning activities for the Reception class.
- Assist with the daily routine of the class, including supervising children during breaks and lunchtime.
- Help children with their learning, including reading, writing, and numeracy.
- Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to ensure the smooth running of the class.
- Experience working in a pre-school setting.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, specifically in Early Years.
- Minimum Level 3 EYFS qualification or equivalent.
- Good behaviour management skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and children.
We offer a competitive daily rate of £85-£95, depending on experience. We also provide free child protection and prevent duty training, and assistance with DBS checks.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'.
