About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of kindness and respect.
Requirements
  • Completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care and willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Care or equivalent.
  • Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and manage time effectively.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
