We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Reception Teacher to join our team at a one-form entry school in Chinnor, Oxfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated educator who can bring fresh ideas and approaches to the classroom.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all students. They will also be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and ensure excellent pupil outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Reception students.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure they reach their full potential.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional and academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to share best practices and enhance student achievement.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A recognized qualification in teaching, preferably a PGCE, Bachelor's degree in Education or any relevant field.
- Proven experience in teaching Reception in a mainstream primary or secondary school.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students and staff.
- Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in class.
This is a permanent contract with a salary paid to scale on the MPS/UPS pay scale within England. The successful candidate will also have access to opportunities for career progression and professional development, as well as a supportive and collaborative working environment.
