Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiographic Technician - Rope Access Specialist to join our team at Oceaneering. As a key member of our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) team, you will be responsible for conducting a range of NDT inspection techniques on components, pipework, and structural assemblies to ensure their acceptability to specification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out NDT inspections using various techniques, including radiography, to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by conducting risk assessments and adhering to Oceaneering's Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) policies.
  • Operate and maintain NDT equipment, performing regular function tests and reporting any faults to the supervisor.
  • Produce clear and concise reports detailing the methods used and results of inspections, including any limitations or test restrictions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects, adhering to deadlines and changing priorities as required.
  • Participate in company-wide technical forums to stay up-to-date with innovative technologies and best practices.
Requirements
  • PCN Radiography Level 2 certification
  • Rope Access certification
  • Offshore Survival certification
  • MIST certification
  • Fit to Train certification
  • Valid Full UK driving license
  • Valid Passport
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • IT literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Working Conditions

This role involves working primarily outdoors, with occasional exposure to airborne dust, fumes, and gases. You will be required to work on or near moving equipment and vibrating equipment, and may be exposed to extreme temperatures.

Physical Demands

This position is considered Medium work, requiring the ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
