Quality Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team in Cambridge. As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our company's products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform standardized quality control checks on products to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Maintain calibrated test equipment and prepare test data.
  • Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Undertake incoming inspections of parts from external suppliers and internal manufacturing units.
  • Independent inspection and testing of manufactured products and assemblies.
  • Ensure that End Item Data Packs are complete and correct.
  • Issue MRB's, Internal Inspection Reports, and SNCR's as required.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment as an inspector or quality technician.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including MIG and TIG welding, joining technology, metal fabrication techniques, electrical and pneumatic systems, machining techniques, and painting systems.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
