Job Title: HGV Driver

We are seeking a skilled HGV driver to join our team at The Best Connection. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks and report any defects or issues.
  • Deliver goods to customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Use website-based delivery scheduling to manage your routes and deliveries.
  • Complete delivery notes and associated paperwork accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • C+E (Class One) Licence.
  • In-date CPC and DIGI Card.
  • Experience using box trailers is preferred.

  • Competitive hourly rate of £16.25 for night shifts and £15.04 for day shifts.
  • 28 days paid annual leave pro-rata for PAYE employees.
