Job Title: Clinical Lead in Adult Mental Health

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to lead our adult mental health services at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical care to patients with complex needs. This will involve working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
* Clinical leadership of adult mental health services
* Development and implementation of strategic plans to enhance patient care and safety
* Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
* Contribution to audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements:
* Full registration with the General Medical Council
* MRCPsych or equivalent qualification
* Eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 12 months of CCT in general adult psychiatry
* Approved under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983
* At least 6 months' clinical experience in an NHS setting, including experience of working with detained patients as a senior trainee, associate specialist, or consultant
* Experience of audit and understanding of clinical governance principles
