Housing Digital Systems Manager

Adecco is seeking a skilled Housing Digital Systems Manager to lead the digital transformation journey of a leading public sector organisation. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective utilisation of line of business applications to support business processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a lead contact between the Housing Digital Systems team and service managers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain a clear roadmap for the system, incorporating patches, upgrades, and improvements to ensure optimal performance.
  • Oversee the relationship with the council's line of business system suppliers to ensure compliance and effective utilisation of resources.
  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of requests, projects, and changes to line of business systems to meet business needs.
  • Establish and maintain a network of key system users for each system to ensure effective training and support.
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines and vendors to ensure compliance and the improvement of usability and consistency.
  • Develop and advocate service management best practices for the digital systems team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Advanced knowledge of workflow-based ICT line of business systems, including system administration functions.
  • Familiarity with national data and information frameworks as set out by government departments.
  • Understanding of GDPR and role-based security needs for managing line of business systems.
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective team management and leadership skills.
  • Experience in delivering transformation and change within systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role in line of business systems management.
