About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Autism Support Manager to lead our Autism Outreach Service in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a large team of outreach support workers and deputy managers, ensuring the highest quality of care and support is delivered to individuals with autism and complex needs.
The ideal candidate will have significant management experience in a similar setting, with a proven track record of delivering person-centered support to people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. You will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to liaise with various stakeholders, and a passion for empowering people with autism or learning disabilities to lead the lives they choose.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing new referrals, developing comprehensive support and risk management plans, building and maintaining strong relationships with families and other professionals, and ensuring the service delivers innovative, person-centered support that meets individuals' needs and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess new referrals and develop comprehensive support and risk management plans
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families and other professionals/stakeholders
- Coach, mentor, and develop a resilient team of support workers and deputy managers
- Ensure the service delivers innovative, person-centered support that meets individuals' needs and outcomes
- Manage the service within budget and achieve expected performance indicators
- Maintain service standards to meet CQC requirements, aiming for a rating of 'Good' or 'Outstanding'
