A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen at Jupiter Recruitment for a dedicated Senior Nurse Manager to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the Darlington, Country Durham area.

This hospital provides specialist inpatient care for adults with complex mental health needs, who present with challenging behaviors, in a safe and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will be qualified as an RMN or RNLD Nurse with a current active NMC Pin. They will be responsible for providing day-to-day management and supervision of the ward, implementing best practice, and supporting changes within the service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Ward Manager in managing the ward
  • Implementing best practice across the ward
  • Supporting changes within the service
  • Responsible for the clinical direction of the service

Preferred skills and experience include:

  • Experienced in delivering and receiving supervision
  • Ability to assess and prioritize clinical situations
  • Excellent leadership skills

The estimated salary for this role is £44,648 per annum, which includes an excellent package of benefits, including a £5,000 Welcome Bonus + Enhancements. The successful candidate will also receive comprehensive induction and ongoing training, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and free on-site parking and meals on duty.
