Service Engineer Nights

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is currently working with a leading provider of power generation systems who offer a wide range of solutions to various industries. They pride themselves on delivering top-notch installation, maintenance, and repair services to their customers.

Your New Role
  • Carry out planned service and maintenance work on both hire fleet and customer equipment.
  • Fault location, diagnosis, and rectification to hire fleet and customer equipment.
  • Preparation of equipment for hire.
  • Installation and disconnection of equipment on site.
  • Installation and commissioning of power to temporary site accommodation.
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles.
  • Carry out duties on call out rota system.
  • Completion and submission of all company paperwork as per procedure.
  • Promote teamwork and co-operation at all times.
  • Proactively contribute to the company's policy of continuous improvement.
  • Follow Health Safety Quality and Environmental guidelines provided by the company.
Requirements
  • GCSE High School or equivalent.
  • Apprenticeship in Engineering.
  • City & Guilds Qualifications.
  • Fork Lift Truck Licence.
  • Experience on generators/plant equipment/heavy engineering.
