Job Summary
Precise and experienced accountants with a strong background in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects are sought after by Paul Card Recruitment to play a key role in shaping the financial systems of a major renewable energy initiative. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled accountant to join a significant green energy project in Teesside as it transitions from construction to full operational status. An attractive day rate of £350, this 3-6 month contract offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact during a pivotal time in the project's lifecycle.

You will be involved in developing a detailed fixed asset register, ensuring assets are accurately recorded, allocated, and managed as the business transitions into production. You will also implement financial controls and processes to establish a solid foundation for future operations. This role involves working closely with stakeholders and external partners to address the unique challenges of a large infrastructure project, reconciling milestone payments and historical financial records. Your work will be critical in preparing the business for its next phase.

To succeed in this position, you should be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong background in large-scale projects. Experience in fixed asset management and implementing financial controls is essential. Ideally, you'll come from a similar industry sector.
