Subsea Operations Specialist

    DOF Subsea Atlantic is looking for a motivated Subsea Field Engineer to join their team on a CSV to support the delivery of subsea projects. The successful candidate will be based on the vessel, working on a rota of up to 6 weeks on/off. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the preparation and delivery of offshore subsea construction, decommissioning, or IRM projects. We are seeking a candidate with a flexible mindset who can use their experience to support the project team before and during execution offshore. The role will also require integration into the Offshore Management Team (OMT) so that they can work on improving efficiencies linked to project delivery and build a strong relationship with the onshore project teams. This role is primarily offshore, but may include occasional office visits to support constructability reviews or risk assessments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and improving processes and manuals to support project delivery.
  • Supporting mobilisations and demobilisations.
  • Supporting offshore project execution (task plan preparation, equipment readiness).
  • Performing ad hoc engineering checks during change management.

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong track record of procedure writing/checking for delivery of subsea projects.
  • Offshore experience on CSV/DSV as a project engineer or field engineer.
  • Mobilisation and demobilisation of offshore construction vessels.
  • An enthusiasm for problem-solving and a flexible attitude.
