About the Role:

Moderna Therapeutics Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist in Cell Culture to join our team. As a key member of our Immuno-Assay development team, you will be responsible for supporting the running of cell-based Immuno-Assay development and qualification/validation to aid programs across multiple therapeutic areas.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assay development, qualification/validation, and sample analysis for cell-based assays.
  • Maintain high-quality cells in culture.
  • Prepare media, chemicals, and reagents as required, maintaining batch records, and assisting with equipment maintenance.
  • Deliver high-quality data within defined timelines.
  • Author bioanalytical reports and draft/review SOPs.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues and report them to the scientific lead.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

  • BSC/MSc Degree in Biology, Biotechnology or biomedical scientists with laboratory research experience in a lab environment
  • Hands-on experience with cell culture in aseptic conditions
  • 2-3 years technical experience in cell culture, lab instrumentation, cell-based assays preferred.
  • Demonstrated level of independence and work ethics
  • Good written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good computational skills, preferably experienced with Word, Excel, Power Point, GraphPad Prism
  • Preferably knowledge of working in a regulated environment (GCP, ISO standards)
  • Preferable experience with LIMS systems.
