About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Stroke Consultant to join our dynamic team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients suffering from stroke.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in a rolling weekly rota, which includes caring for HASU patients and acute stroke calls, ASU patients, TIA clinics, and outpatients clinics. You will also be expected to join a rota to provide weekend and bank holiday Stroke Unit ward rounds and assessment of high-risk TIA referrals.

Programmed Activities

This is a 10 PA contract based on the recommendations from the BMA. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a high level of clinical care and supporting professional activities.
