About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team at Pro Talent. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for preparing financial accounts, managing client relationships, and providing key financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Leading and managing occasional audit assignments from planning through to completion for a wide range of clients, including SMEs and large corporations.
- Reviewing financial statements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns and other financial reports.
- Assisting with tax computations and liaising with the tax team for clients' tax returns.
- Providing clients with financial advice and insights based on their financial data.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong experience in preparing year-end accounts and financial statements.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
