About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team at Ipsum Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for tendering projects for our Major Projects division.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Tender multiple and/or major projects from a tendering perspective safely, competently, and effectively to time and budget.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies, and procedures of Ipsum Group and its customers.
  • Identify and inform Ipsum Group Directors / Senior Managers of commercial opportunities as appropriate.
  • Produce front-end programmes for certain tenders using project management tools.
  • Final review of delivered projects to review financial and delivery performance.
  • Work with the Major Projects teams to ensure safe, effective, and efficient implementation of Ipsum Group operations.
  • Liaise with colleagues across Ipsum Group organisation to ensure effective completion of tasks.
  • Attend site surveys for tendering purposes when required.

About You

  • Degree, HNC, HND in Electrical Related Subject.
  • ICP or Major Project experience at 33kV, minimum of 3 years' experience required.
  • Able to produce Microsoft Project programmes.
  • Experience of operating in a commercial, multi-divisional organisation.
  • Solid and up-to-date knowledge of statutory requirements, legislation and technical advances and a good knowledge of Health and Safety practice and Risk Assessment processes.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is around £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
