Materials Supervisor

As a Materials Supervisor at IMPRESS GROUP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility. Your primary responsibility will be to manage materials effectively, guaranteeing that they are supplied and cut according to production requirements.

• Manage the cutting and processing of materials using automatic saws and guillotines to meet quality and timeline standards.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized processing area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  
• Accurately record material inventory levels and conduct regular audits to verify stock accuracy and availability.
  
• Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and procurement teams to ensure materials are accessible as needed and meet all specifications.
  
• Assist with general laboring tasks within the production facility as required.
  
• Work safely at heights using ladders and cherry pickers, following established guidelines.
  
• Prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity.
  
• Contribute to a positive team environment, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar supervisory role is highly desirable.
  
• Proficiency in operating automatic bandsaws and guillotines is essential.
  
• Able to work safely at heights using ladders and cherry pickers.
  
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills.
  
• Friendly and approachable attitude with strong communication skills.
