Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Brook Street Social Care. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Registered Manager in the management of the children's home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for residents.
  • Lead and develop the staff team, promoting a positive and supportive culture.
  • Oversee the implementation and review of care plans, ensuring they meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Act as a role model for staff, promoting best practices in childcare and safeguarding.
  • Liaise with external agencies, professionals, and families to promote the welfare and development of children.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce (CYP) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a children's home as a Senior or Deputy Manager.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including sleep-ins.
