Cardiac Catheterisation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Catheterisation Specialist to join our team at Nuffield Health. As a specialist in cardiac catheterisation, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of patients through our Cath Labs and support our clinicians in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Our hospital is a new and growing centre for cardiac services, and we are looking for enthusiastic team members to join us on this journey. As a Cardiac Catheterisation Specialist, you will work collaboratively with consultants and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients benefit from the best possible treatment and care.

With a minimum of 2 years Cardiac Cath Lab experience, you will be reliable, enthusiastic, and a self-motivated individual. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, and will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, clinically effective care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of patients through our Cath Labs
  • Supporting clinicians in delivering high-quality care to patients
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
  • Working collaboratively with consultants and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years Cardiac Cath Lab experience
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual

Nuffield Health Barts Hospital

We've opened the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew's Hospital: The City of London's only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital. This is our flagship centre for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology, and urology services.

Our hospital consists of:

  • 48 inpatient and day case bedrooms
  • 28 consultation rooms
  • Three digital operating theatres
  • Cardiac catheterisation lab
  • Specialist intensive care beds
  • Oncology day unit
  • Endoscopy and minor ops theatre
  • Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography, and general X-ray
