Commercial Contracts Manager

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our legal teams to ensure that contracts are in compliance with legal, regulatory, and organisational policies. You will deploy control measures to monitor the contracting process and assure compliance with our contractual guidelines, commercial and contracting standards, and mitigate client risk where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a contract liaison, participating in pre-contract discussions, contract negotiations, and recommending and implementing contract changes through templates and change management.
  • Own the central contract templates and lessons learned feedback process.
  • Assess the commercial risk of contracts and liaise with peers to ensure risks are understood and appropriate mitigation measures are in place through the contract where appropriate.
  • Maintain detailed records of the company's contracts, both current and past, regularly communicating with stakeholders to update them on contract status and addressing any concerns.
Requirements:
  • Experience in contract management, procurement, or legal roles within the construction environment.
  • Strong commercial and contracting background in an NEC4 environment.
  • Experience of negotiating complex framework contracts.
