We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team at our Wickham Market office.

About the Role:

This is an ideal position for someone looking to develop their design experience and skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

You will be working on a variety of projects, primarily for bespoke, high-end buildings for both the domestic and commercial markets.

Our team is committed to delivering innovative and sympathetic designs that meet the needs of our clients.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Use the latest design software to create and manage structural designs.
  • Liaise with key clients and discuss design/technical solutions with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are appropriately resourced, delegating work to team members, programming deliverables, and monitoring progress.
  • Prepare calculations, drawings, details, specifications, and reports for a wide range of structures and materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent (Masters degree preferred).
  • Understanding of the use of design tools within a BIM environment.
  • Use of industry design standards, i.e. DMRB; Manual for Streets; NJUG, SSG etc.
  • Problem solver, able to offer solutions to challenges.
  • Able to work and collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Confident, articulate, collaborative & proactive.
  • Eagerness to learn and to develop your skills and career with training support.
  • Good time management and organisational skills to efficiently manage workload.
  • A good knowledge of the CDM regulations in addition to British standards and EU regulations.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel across the UK.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK and be able to demonstrate proof when requested.
