Automated Machinery Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team as a Maintenance Specialist in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining mechanical equipment, including hydraulics, valve pumps, gearboxes, and motors, as well as fault-finding and repairing bespoke machinery in an automated setting.
Key Skills and Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in a mechanical fitting or maintenance role
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulic systems, valve pumps, gearboxes, and motors
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Our client is a leading manufacturer in the timber production industry, established over 150 years ago. They offer a unique opportunity for an Ex-Force engineer or similar to gain expert training and become a fully qualified Maintenance Engineer.
