Job Title: Band 5 Mental Health Services Nurse

Cygnet Paddocks, our flagship Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) service, is seeking experienced Registered Mental Health/Learning Disability Nurses to join our team on a Full-time basis.

About the Role:

We are looking for dedicated and resilient nurses who can provide high-quality care and rehabilitation to our service users. As a Band 5 Mental Health Services Nurse, you will be responsible for producing outstanding written reports, working closely with the management team, and attending training and CPD to further your knowledge and promote nursing excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality written reports based on nursing assessments and observations
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the service by working closely with the management team
  • Attend training and engage in CPD to further your knowledge and promote nursing excellence
  • Administer prescribed medicines in accordance with Healthcare Commission guidelines

Requirements:
  • Current and valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Mental Health/Learning Disability Nurse
  • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, patients, and their support networks
  • Preparedness to undertake the physical care needs of patients, demonstrating a hands-on approach to nursing care
  • Advocate for patient rights and well-being with a commitment to providing patient-centred care
