About the Role

We are looking for a skilled North Wales Police Communications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing emergency calls and providing critical support to the police force.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing expectations and advising what the police can and cannot do
  • Working with other emergency services and partner agencies
  • Providing crime reduction advice and reassurance to members of the public
  • Recording intelligence to inform future policing operations

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in Communication/Business/Customer related field
  • Type at least 25-30wpm
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Computer literate to an intermediate level
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations

The estimated salary for this role is £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience.
